Drums Along the Waterfront
welcomes the
Ten-Time DCI World Champion

Cadets

for

Music is Cool

Join us on June 28, 2012 at the University of Buffalo Football Stadium for an all-day interactive clinic where students learn marching and playing techniques alongside world-class corps members and instructors.

All music and marching students are welcome to participate -- percussion, brass, woodwinds, color guard. More information is available at the Music is Cool website.


Schedule
  • 10:00am Registration for Music is Cool participants
  • 10:30am Cadets kick-off their day
  • 11:00am Morning basics with Cadets and Music is Cool participants
  • 11:30am Sectionals with Cadet staff
  • 2:00pm Lunch with the Cadets (Bring your own lunch; Cadets to provide beverages and dessert.)
  • 2:30pm Marching session with Cadets staff
  • 4:00pm Break
  • 4:30pm Session with Cadets Director George Hopkins
  • 5:15pm Music rehearsal with the Cadets
  • 6:00pm Show and Tell -- all sections play for one another
  • 6:45pm Cadets showcase
  • 7:00pm End of clinic; Cadets break
  • 7:30pm Cadets rehearsal in the stadium -- all are welcome
  • 10:00pm End of day

This Music is Cool event is made available free of charge to all participants.
